Zenith Bank restores service, apologises
Zenith Bank has tendered apology to customers for its service disruption and inconveniences on Monday and Tuesday, following upgrade of its information technology infrastructure aimed at upgrading and improving the quality of service.
While tendering apology to its customers, the bank announced that it had restored service after making a significant progress in the exercise.
The bank which gave an update on Thursday in a statement on X.com, stated that customers could now access their accounts, make transactions and enjoy banking services.
It added that customers could also perform transactions conveniently through various banking channels, including its mobile app, internet banking platform, debit card, agent banking and branches nationwide.
During the disruption and inconveniences, customers took to social media platforms to express their frustration over difficulties with online banking transactions
“Dear Valued Customer, we sincerely apologize for the service disruptions you experienced recently on our banking channels. This was due to an Information Technology upgrade aimed at improving the quality of service we provide you,” the statement said.
Earlier, the bank gave a notification that the facilities would undergo maintenance from September 29 to October 1.
