No Abduction at Gwarinpa Estate, Abuja – FCT Police Command

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command just debunked the earlier reports on residents of an estate in Abuja where were kidnapped.

The earlier report detailed bandits’ activities in the estate that resulted in some residents’ abduction by the bandits. According to the earlier report, the number of residents kidnapped were unknown.

The FCT police spokeswoman has however made it known that such incident never occurred at Gwarinpa Estate.

According to her, “Nothing happened in the Gwarinpa Estate. The only incident that occurred was a burglary at Queen Efab Estate, Galadima at around 3am”

“The police received the distress call and responded to it. No one was kidnapped. All the laptops, phones and gadgets that were stolen have been recovered by the police. There was no attack or kidnap at Gwarimpa,” she said.
