The south-eastern senator, Abia State Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe has quitted his political party, PDP and resigned his position in the Senate as the minority leader, just in two days after the former governor of Anambra, Peter Gregory Obi did something similar.
The reason for his action according to him was, “..shameful display of illegality, impunity and undemocratic decision of the party and after due consultations with my constituents,” ABARIBE said in his correspondence with PDP chairman in Ward 5 of Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.
There are speculations that the senator is preparing to switch camp to APGA.
