BREAKING: AGAINST ALL ODDS, TINUBU WINS APC PRESIDENTIAL TICKET
The former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu has won the APC presidential primary elections.
Recall that many analysts and political figures suggested that there was every possibility that Tinubu might not emerge as the party’s presidential flag bearer following an announcement of consensus candidate by Adamu, the party’s chairman and the refusal of some aspirants well known to be Tinubu’s political protégés to let go of their dreams of presidency in favour of Bola Tinubu.
However, until the very last day that majority of the northern governors declared full support for southern candidates for fairness and equity that the sunrise of hope began to emerge and shine on Ahmed Tinubu.
At the commencement of the exercise, many aspirants directed their supporters and delegates to boost Tinubu’s votes.
Against all odds, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu has emerged victoriously ahead of his fellow competitors in the race with the vote of 1271. He will then go on to meet Abubakar Atiku of PDP’s presidential candidate to compete with in the next year general elections.
