The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche, and his wife, Becky, at the weekend, offered legal services through a team of lawyers to the inmates of Kuje Medium Security Correctional Centre in Abuja.
In a statement on Saturday, the couple visited the prison facility on Friday and demonstrated the kind gesture.
“Liberty happens when mentality is changed. Your impact after here can delete your setbacks, and if your prison doesn’t stop your praise, your praise will bring you out of your prison,” Enenche said.
While counseling the inmates against addictions, they also prayed for them against ancestral curses.
The Public Relations Officer of the correctional facility, AS Duza, commended the clerics for their compassion and generosity.
Duza also led the couple on a tour of various skill acquisition programmes in the facility, including tailoring, laundry, shoemaking, soap making and salon services.
Another highpoint of the visit was the presentation of food items and relief materials to the inmates by the Enenches.
The gesture portrayed Dunamis Church’s commitment to societal transformation through spiritual guidance, practical support and empowerment initiatives,”
Duza said.
