PRESIDENT TINUBU TO EMBARK ON OFFICIAL VISIT TO EQUATORIAL GUINEA

President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea, following an invitation from President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. During his visit, President Tinubu will meet with his Equatorial Guinean counterpart to hold discussions and sign agreements focused on oil and gas, security, and other key areas of cooperation.

According to the press release by the State House, “President Tinubu will meet with the Equatorial Guinean President at the Presidential Villa on arrival, where meetings will be held between the two leaders and agreements, particularly on oil and gas and security, will be signed.”

The President will be joined on the trip by Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other cabinet members who will participate in the signing of agreements and explore opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.

The visit is scheduled to take place from August 14 to 16 and is expected to yield significant benefits for both nations, according to Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity).
