Protesters of #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria resumed the protest in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Saturday
after a brief period of calm.
Scores of them returned to the streets on Saturday after some days when the protest which started on August 1, was halted due to raids on residences and arrest of organisers by security operatives.
When they hit the streets on Saturday, they began the demonstration as early as 7.00 am chanting “End hunger” and “reverse fuel subsidy removal,” among others.
The protest was expected to end on Saturday with a one million-man march across the country.
On Friday, D’GalleryTV saw a heavy presence of security operatives around the Central Business District areas of the city.
Also there was a noticeable increase in the number of security agents stationed at the Eagle Square.
