Peter Obi rekindles new Nigeria hope with Nigerians in Diaspora
The Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Mr.Peter Obi, has rekindled the hope of a new Nigeria with Nigerians in the Diaspora.
He expressed hope during his “Thank You Tour,” in the US and also stressed that a new Nigeria was possible if the right leaders were recruited at all levels of government.
The former presidential candidate noted that with unified efforts, Nigerians could overcome the current challenges bedevilling them, embrace opportunities, and create a nation where every citizen could succeed.
In a statement jointly signed by the Coordinators of the PONewNigeriaProject,
Dr David Ogula, Dr Moses Paul and Mrs Ndidi Mbagwu, Mr Obi reflected on the impactful journey of the American, “Thank You Tour and enlightening lecture he delivered at Harvard Law School.
Dr. Mose Paul recalled the deep experiences shared and the inspiring conversations held during the thank you tour across US cities.
“As we embark on the journey ahead, let us carry with us the lessons learned, the bonds forged, and the unwavering resolve to build a brighter future for Nigeria. Together, we can overcome challenges, embrace opportunities, and create a nation where every citizen thrives. Thank you for your unwavering support, and let us continue to move forward with courage, compassion, and hope,” Obi said
Based on the engaging discussions on the state of the nation to exploring pathways forward, the statement said, “every moment was filled with hope, determination, and a shared vision for a better tomorrow”.
The former Governor of Anambra state further noted that the questions and answers session at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, reaffirmed the commitment of Nigerians in Diaspora to making a difference in the lives of others.

He added that as they gathered at the Life Christian Church Auditorium in West Orange, New Jersey, alongside the Obidient family, the spirit of resilience and optimism resonated deeply.
