In Lagos, in the early hours of today, nothing less than sixteen persons had been killed in an auto crash that happened along Alaro city, in Epe area.
The tragic auto crash occurred between an articulated truck with an unknown plate number was reported to have damaged visibility and careless driving along the corridor of the construction. The other vehicle was a white commercial bus with plate number KTN 262YJ.
Upon the confirmation of accident, the Lagos Sector Command Public Education Officer, Route Commander Olabisi Sanusi, said, ”The auto crash happened at about 3 am today. FRSC operatives and other emergency management agencies are on the ground to ensure prompt recovery and evacuation of all crashed vehicles.
“The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Lagos Sector Command Corps, Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, therefore, advised motorists to always avoid night journey because of impaired visibility at that hour.
“”He also admonished the motoring public to always observe construction signage and speed limits at such zones.
“Ogungbemide is also using this medium to commiserate with the families of the deceased while wishing the injured quick recovery”
