EXCLUSIVE: EUROPEAN UNION TO BE AT LEGAL BATTLE AGAINST UK ON POST-BREXIT CHANGE
The bill proposed by the UK to jettison custom checks on some commodities making their way into Northern Ireland contravenes the agreement made with the EU.
As a result, the European Union is initiating a pursuit of legal action to bar the UK government’s unilateral moves and tendencies to amend parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol in the post-brexit agreement.
The bill proposed aims to cut off customs checks on some goods entering Northern Ireland from the other parts of the UK.
This nullifies some of the accords signed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson and EU about two years ago.

The Northern Ireland’s border was kept free of custom post and checks as open border is a special key of the peace process that halted periods of violence in Northern Ireland.
