Many lovers and admirers of the late gospel singer across the country have been spitting fire calling for justice to be served. Osinachi Nwachukwu who was 42 years of age died in April 8th 2022. Her death ever since has been linked to allegation of constant domestic violence which she endured believing there would be a positive change. Change which unfortunately never came to reality, instead the only change was her life taken away untimely.
All fingers of accusations have been pointed at her husband, Peter Nwachukwu. Till this day, these accusations remain at Peter’s doorstep.
In the recent development, the Federal Ministry of Justice has lit up the allegation against Peter for being responsible for his wife’s death by filing fresh charges against Peter Nwachukwu.
The 23 counts which are tantamount to culpable homicide under Section 104 and 379 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 and Section 222 of the Panel Code, and Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act (VAPP) were filed by the Federal Ministry of Justice before the FCT High Court.
The entire allegation against Peter Nwachukwu were severe emotional and physical tortures he deliberately subjected Osinachi to when she was alive.
In addition, the Ministry of Women Affairs is apparently in the fight to establish Justice for the late gospel singer as the Ministry convincingly stated that the government would make certain that Justice was served in the matter.
