Last week, the coalition led by the Head, One Nigeria Group, Mohammed Saleh which consists of 28 groups of Youth Arise Movement, Nigerians in Diaspora One Nigeria Group, Prudent Youth Association of Nigeria, women groups, farmers, people with disabilities and other civil society groups sponsored the purchase of APC presidential ticket at the cost of 100m for Akinwumi Adesina the president of the African Development Bank (AFDB) .
The expression of interest and presidential nomination forms of Akinwumi Adesina has now reportedly be submitted at the All Progressive Congress (APC).
It is however unclear if the form was submitted by Dr Akinwumi Adesina or by proxy as the aid withholds information on this.
Dr Akinwumi Adesina is expected to contest in the race for APC presidential candidate with the Vice-president, Yemi Osibajo, former governor of Lagos, Bola Tinubu and others at the APC primary election
Delegates of the ruling party shall pick a presidential candidate between May 30 and June 1.
