I am Sure APC Will Make Greater Heights Under Your Watch – Rt. Hon.Buba

Chairman, Committee on Foreign Affairs,House of Representatives,Rt. Hon.( Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub,has said that Mr. Sunny Moniedafe possesses the qualities to present himself for the position of National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress( APC).

Buba,who made the above observation, Tuesday,in Abuja when the aspirant to the Office of the National Chairman of the Party paid him a courtesy call, also noted that the aspirant remained a brilliant, detribalised,focused and hard working Nigerian whose leadership credentials and the ability to blend among different national ethnic regions and groups across the country have enormously prepared for the challenges of the position he seeks to attain.

” I have seen the people with you. They have come from different backgrounds, different languages and different religions. I have no doubt in my mind as to your ability to make things better if you get there. As a man with roots in Delta State in the South- South Zone as well as in my home State of Adamawa in the Northeast Zone and Abuja,the Federal Capital Territory,you possess the requisite exposure and all the contacts that you need to deliver on this quest. We assure you of our support and pray for the provision of the necessary logistics to aid this campaign”.

Earlier,while thanking Rt.Hon. Buba for bringing him into the field of national politics in the Federal Capital Territory in spite of the lawmaker being just a younger brother at the time,Mr Moniedafe said he had merely sought to return to the State to seek elective office when the Member had impressed upon him the need to get involved in politics at the federal level. He said that piece of advice offered to him many years ago remains one for which he remains eternally grateful to the entrepreneur-turned politician.

Continuing,Mr.Dafe said he had come to seek the Honourable Member’s support for his quest and believes that, as a politician of note and member of the National Executive Committee ( NEC) of the APC, his support would go a long way at welcoming that of the many others who support the leadership vision and service of the Adamawa- born legislator.

The aspirant to the Party apex leadership position was accompanied in the visit by supporters and well-wishers.
